Why Families in South Bend Choose The Fluency Connection

A BCBA-D leads your child’s care. Our Clinical Director, Dr. Sorah Stein, holds a PhD in Behavior Analysis and is board certified at the doctoral level (BCBA-D). She also holds certification as a sexuality educator and supervisor through AASECT. When your child’s program is designed, it is designed by someone with decades of clinical expertise, not handed off to a junior clinician after an initial meeting.

Small caseloads, real relationships. Because we are a small practice, our BCBAs and BCaBAs maintain smaller caseloads than what you will find at many of the larger ABA providers in the area. This means more direct involvement in your child’s day-to-day programming, faster adjustments when something needs to change, and a team that genuinely knows your child.

Precision Teaching and fluency-based instruction. We do not just teach skills until your child can do them correctly. We teach until they can do them fluently, which means quickly, easily, and reliably across settings. This approach leads to better long-term retention and real-world application of the skills your child learns.

Specialty services most ABA providers cannot offer. In addition to comprehensive and focused ABA, we provide sexuality education for individuals with developmental disabilities, academic remediation for elementary students, and Medicaid waiver behavior management services. These are services that most of the larger ABA companies in the area simply do not have the expertise to provide.

We’re ACQ Accredited. This is a global recognition awarded to firms that demonstrate consistent excellence, strong client results, and industry leadership.
